Bonding Crystals are composite laser crystals comprising two, three, or more parts with varying doping characteristics. These parts are joined using a method called diffusion bonding, which involves the diffusion of atoms across their interfaces. Throughout the bonding process, the crystal interfaces are polished to achieve ultra-high flatness without the use of adhesives. This method significantly reduces the thermal lensing effect, making Diffusion Bonded Crystals highly suitable for high-power laser applications. The composite design of these crystals offers distinct advantages.
