Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) single crystal belongs to the tetragonal system and is a positive uniaxial crystal. It boasts a wide transmission spectrum ranging from Deep UV (DUV) to Long Wavelength Infrared (LWIR), specifically from 110 nm to 7500 nm. MgF2 crystals exhibit outstanding optical transmittance in the Vacuum UV (VUV) region, with more than 80% transmittance at 170 nm.
